APRICOT ANGEL FOOD CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 Each 16 oz box of Angel food cake mix
1/2 Cup Chopped Dried Apricots
7-8 Each Apricot Halves
1 Cup Confectioners Sugar
3 Tablespoons Orange Juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package. Fold in apricots. Line bottom of pan with canned apricot halves. Pour batter into pan. Bake 35-45 minutes or until dark golden brown. Immediately turn cake upside down on cooling rack until completely cool , about 2-1/2 hours. Gently loosen sides with a spatula and remove from pan. In small bowl mix sugar and juice together thoroughly. Glaze the cake with the sugar mixture.
