These muffins are quick and easy to make. I like these with a cup of hot tea.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°. Line large muffin pan with paper liners.
- 2. Mix egg, sugar, milk and melted butter in large bowl.
- 3. Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- 4. Add the chopped apple and mix coarsely. (Tip: Do not over mix the muffin mixture - it should be lumpy.)
- 5. Spoon the miffin batter into the paper-lined muffin pan.
- 6. Make topping mix by mixing raw sugar with remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle over the uncooked muffins.
- 7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
- 8. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
