APPLE BERRY CRISP image

3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose
grated rind of lemon
4 cups sliced peeled apples (about 4)
1 pkg (300 g) frozen blueberries (2cups)
1 pkg (300 g) frozen raspberries (2 cups)
2 cups frozen cranberries
Topping:
1 1/2 rolled oats
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Steps:

  • In large bowl, stir together sugar, flour and lemon rind. Add apples, blueberries, raspberries, and cranberries. stir gently tp mix. Spoon into bakind dish. topping: In small bowl, stoir together oats, sugar, flour and cinnamon: drizzle with butter and toss to mix. Spoon over fruit. Bake in 375 oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until bubbling and topping is golden. Serve warm with ice cream or plain yogurt.
