ALMOND RICE image

1 1/2 cups rice
1/4 cup butter
3 cups beef broth
1 cup canned mushrooms
1/2 cup slivered almonds
2 tablespoons poppyseed
1/4 cup

Steps:

  • Brown rice in butter. Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish. Add beef broth, canned mushrooms, slivered almonds, and poppyseed; mix well. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Garnish with chopped parsley.
