2/3 cup minced green onions
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
2 T minced peeled fresh ginger
2 T chili oil
2 tsp oriental sesame oil
2 tsp five-spice powder

Steps:

  • Whisk all ingredients in medium bowl until blended. (can be prepared 1 day ahead. cover and refrigerate) Marinate beef or chicken in half of marinade at least 1 hour and up to 3 hours in refrigerator before grilling. Remove meat. Boil marinade 1 minute. brush over meat while grilling.
