3 hour beef roast Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 11

BBQ sauce:
3 lbs lean boneless chuck roast- fat removed
1- 11 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 cup ketchup
2 TBSP mustard
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 TSP Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place a double thickness of aluminum foil in a 9x13 pan. Place meat in the pan mix all ingredients and pour oven the roast. Seal the foil tightly leaving about 1 inch clearance. Bake approx. 3 hours. Serve with noodles or potatoes.
