Meatloaf image

Not your Mama's nasty meatloaf.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 eggs
1/2 c milk
1 can(s) (small) tomato sauce
1/4 c grated or finely diced onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 pkg mccormick's meatloaf seasoning
1 c plain bread crumbs or finely crushed saltine crackers
2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together all ingredients except meat, mix really well. It will look like a rust colored sloppy mess. Then add meats and mix really well. If it seems a little too wet, add more bread crumbs. If it seems too dry, add a tad of milk, but will probably be more wet than dry. Mix til it seems to be getting sticky and will form a solid big ball. Turn into a glass baking dish and generously sprinkle black pepper all over the top. Bake at 400* for 1 hour. Remove from pan onto a plate and let stand 20 minutes before cutting.
