15 Minutes Oatmeal (Rice Cooker) image

my own version of oatmeal cooked in the rice cooker. all it takes is only 15 minutes of your time :)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup quick oats (can be substituted with steel-cut oats but cooking time will be slightly longer)
1 cup water
1 cup milk
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 tablespoons of your desired dried fruits (raisins, sultanas, apricots, dates)

Steps:

  • Place all of the ingredients in the rice cooker.
  • Stir the mixture.
  • Turn the rice cooker on.
  • Wait for around 15 minutes (mine was cooked well within only 15 minutes!). Otherwise, wait for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm :).
