Ok now this recipe is a little different. The prep time depends on whether or not you begin soaking your beans in the morning or over night.

Steps:
- Cover the beans with water to an inch past the beans & 2 tbsp of salt. Let them soak
- After soaking, drain then add 2 qts of water & ham hocks, simmer 3 hours
- Add onion, chili powder, tomatoes, garlic & red wine, simmer another hour
