2 (8 ounce) fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 ounce ranch dressing mix (hidden valley, 1 package)
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, as much as desired

Steps:

  • Put the mushrooms in the crockpot.
  • Melt butter in a bowl and add the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Package.
  • Mix well and pour over mushrooms in the Crockpot.
  • Sprinkle with about two teaspoons of Parmesan Cheese or more to your liking.
  • Cook in crockpot at low for 4 hours.
  • It gives a delicious side dishes or topping for a steak.

1-1/2 pounds whole fresh mushrooms
1 cup butter, melted
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
Optional: Chopped fresh dill weed or parsley

Steps:

  • Place mushrooms in a 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, whisk butter and ranch mix; pour over mushrooms. Cook, covered, on low until mushrooms are tender, about 3 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon. If desired, sprinkle with dill., Freeze option: Freeze mushrooms and juices in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Microwave, covered, on high in a microwave-safe dish until heated through, stirring occasionally; add a little broth or water if necessary.

I love mushrooms, and especially enjoy them cooked in the crock-pot along with butter, and a packet of ranch dip mix. I serve these delicious tasting mushrooms as a side dish.

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 lb. whole fresh mushrooms
1 (1 oz.) packet hidden valley ranch dips mix (*see note)

Steps:

  • 1. Place half of the mushrooms in the crock-pot.
  • 2. Pour half of the melted butter over the mushrooms.
  • 3. Sprinkle half of the (dry) ranch dip mix over the mushrooms.
  • 4. Add remaining mushrooms to the crock-pot.
  • 5. Pour the remaining melted butter over the mushrooms.
  • 6. Sprinkle the remaining dip mix over the mushrooms.
  • 7. Place lid on crock-pot, and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours. (I just cook mine for 3 hours, as after three hours of cooking time, my kitchen as well as the mushrooms smell so good, that we can't wait to dig into 'em.)
  • 8. *Note: Hidden Valley has 2 kinds of seasoning mixes, a mix to make dips, and a seasoning mix to make salad dressing. For this recipe, I much prefer to use the dip mix.

An easy appetizer for a party or gathering. No one will ever believe there are only three ingredients after experiencing the flavor punch. I leave the mushrooms whole rather than slicing them. Melt in your mouth delicious and will have people coming back for more! Easy, inexpensive, and everyone loves it. If you like, you can replace some of the butter with olive oil. 1 lb fresh mushrooms (cremini or white button mushrooms)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix

Steps:

  • Put mushrooms in a crock pot.
  • Mix melted butter with ranch dressing mix. Pour over the mushrooms & cook on low 3 to 4 hours.
  • The ranch and butter mixture will look like it will not coat all the mushrooms at first. Let them cook a little and the mushrooms will give off some juice. If not, add just a little water. Enjoy!

1 -1 1/2 lb cremini mushrooms or 1 -1 1/2 lb button mushroom, cleaned
1 package Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing or 1 package ranch dip mix
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 -3 tablespoons water
2/3 cup olive oil
mozzarella cheese or parmesan cheese (optional)

Steps:

  • Place mushrooms in a medium mixing bowl, set aside.
  • In a small bowl stir together the ranch package, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.
  • Whisk in the olive oil.
  • Pour over mushrooms and toss.
  • Allow to marinate for at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours.
  • Grill, saute', bake, or place on kabobs with meats and other vegetables.
  • Top with cheese after cooking, optional.
  • Serving Suggestions: Porterhouse steak, baked potato topper, mashed potatoes, and this makes a great appetizer.

16 oz small/medium button or crimini mushrooms
1 stick unsalted butter
1 pkg (2 tbsp)hidden valley ranch mix
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Brush/wipe mushrooms clean, trimming bottom of stems if needed. If you have large mushrooms cut them in half, or quarters. Drop into a crock pot.
  • 2. In a small pan, melt the butter and whisk in the Ranch dressing mix. Pour over the mushrooms. Sprinkle Parmesan over top.

They put it on pizza, dip French fries in it, dip fried pickles in it, and the list goes on. I figured they probably eat mushrooms and ranch together too! My air fryer came with a shallow air fryer pan, if yours does not, you may simply place the mushrooms straight into the air fryer basket.

½ cup milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon garlic and onion seasoning
½ cup ranch dressing
¾ cup panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
8 ounces portobello mushroom caps, cleaned
nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Set up a breading station with 4 shallow dishes. Add milk to the first dish. Mix flour and seasoning blend together in the second dish. Add ranch dressing to the third dish. Mix panko bread crumbs and dry ranch dressing in the fourth dish.
  • Dip each mushroom first into milk, then flour, shaking off excess flour. Dip in ranch dressing, followed by panko bread crumbs. Set mushrooms in a shallow air fryer pan or the air fryer basket and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
