LASAGNA - NO BOIL

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet, brown both types of meat. Drain.
- 2. Add back to the skillet. Add sauce and bring to a boil. Set aside.
- 3. In a bowl, mix together cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella (I use 2 cups here), Parmesan, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- 4. Spread 1 cup sauce over the bottom of 13X9X2" baking dish.
- 5. Arrange 3 uncooked lasagna noodles lengthwise over sauce.
- 6. Spread one-half of the cheese filling over lasagna.
- 7. Then another cup of sauce.
- 8. Then sprinkle mozzarella over the sauce.
- 9. Repeat layers of lasagna, cheese filling, sauce, and mozzarella.
- 10. Place last 3 pieces of lasagna noodles.
- 11. Then remaining sauce.
- 12. Cover tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes.
- 13. Remove foil. Sprinkle on enough mozzarella to cover the top layer. Bake an additional 15 minutes, uncovered.
- 14. Remove from oven. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
RAGU NO BOILING LASAGNA
I found this recipe in an advertisement for Ragu. The original recipe calls for 2 eggs instead of the egg whites and Ragu's Old World Style Pasta Sauce.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and egg whites.
- Using 13x9 baking dish, spread 1 cup pasta sauce on the bottom.
- Layer 4 lasagna noodles, then 1 cup pasta sauce, then 1/2 cheese mixture.
- Repeat.
- Top with remaining 4 lasagna noodles and 2 cups sauce.
- Reserve the remaining sauce.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered 10 minutes.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
