1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon orange juice
1/8 teaspoon curry powder
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, butter, mustard, orange juice and curry powder. Spoon half into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. , In a skillet, brown chicken in oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place over sauce; turn to coat. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 minutes. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 170°.

This dish is my own concoction. I threw it together one day because it's the only thing I had in the kitchen and I was snowed in. It was so delish I make it often now! I call it Chicken Marco Polo because it borrows cinnamon and curry powder from the Silk Route. Marco Polo took it home to Italy together with pasta at the time....

1 chicken (i use free range, always better flavour)
1 onion
1 fennel (alternative: soup veg or celery)
1 carrot
2 c water
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 lemon (juice only)
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. Put olive oil in a big pan, high heat. Brown the chicken 1-2 minutes each side.
  • 2. Roughly chop veg. Put everything in. Put lid on.
  • 3. Turn down heat to low-mid so it simmers steadily without boiling over. You can also use a pressure cooker or electric pan.
  • 4. Cooking time depends on size of chicken. It's 30 minutes for the small chicken I use.
  • 5. Serve with pasta of your choice. I tend to just throw in two small hands of fusilli in the last five minutes for quickness.
  • 6. If you are feeling cheffy today, put some of the liquid and veg in a skillet, add some sour cream or double cream, and reduce over medium fire for a few minutes. 5 seconds of blending will make it smooth restaurant quality sauce.

Quick and easy Honey Mustard Chicken Bites are so tasty and healthy. All you need is a few simple ingredients, a skillet, and less than 20 minutes!

2 Tablespoons honey
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1-1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 Tablespoon olive oil

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, stir together the honey, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Set aside.
  • Cut the chicken into 1/2- to 3/4-inch cubes. Place the chicken cubes in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Toss to coat.
  • Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet over high heat. Hold your hand about 6 inches above the pan, and when you can feel the heat, add the olive oil and swirl around the pan. Add one piece of chicken to the pan to ensure it starts to sizzle and hiss. If it doesn't the pan is not hot enough, so let it heat for another minute or two. Then add the chicken in a single layer.
  • Let it cook without moving it around for 3-4 minutes or until browned on the first side. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken and toss to coat. Let is reduce another 5 minutes or so until the chicken is cooked through and glazed. Serve immediately.

1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
10 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon curry powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 deg.
  • Add 1/2 the butter (1/4 c) to 13 x 9 baking pan and put in the oven to melt butter.
  • Combine Flour, salt and cayenne pepper.
  • Coat Chicken in Flour mixture.
  • Take pan with melted butter out of oven.
  • Put dredged chicken thighs into pan, turning to coat with butter Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
  • Mix brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, curry powder and remaining butter.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Bake 20 minutes more or until chicken is tender, basting several times with drippings from the pan.

Um, actually, it came about when I was supposed to be making something else, had the chicken coated then real9sed OOPS, I have no soy sauce and thought, 'Fine, I'll put the chook in the pan, then oven and just pour honey over it.' And it was great and too easy!

2 cups flour
2 kg chicken wings
1 cup honey
1/4 cup oil, for frying

Steps:

  • Dip chicken in egg.
  • roll in flour.
  • fry in pan until golden

  • bake in oven 180 Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • while baking heat honey.
