This is the best pasta salad I've ever eaten, and people request it frequently. It's a very easy, light-tasting side dish for a picnic or dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (16 ounce) package fusilli (spiral) pasta
3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
½ pound provolone cheese, cubed
½ pound salami, cubed
¼ pound sliced pepperoni, cut in half
1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 (10 ounce) can black olives, drained
1 (4 ounce) jar pimentos, drained
1 (8 ounce) bottle Italian salad dressing

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain, and rinse with cold water.
  • In a large bowl, combine pasta with tomatoes, cheese, salami, pepperoni, green pepper, olives, and pimentos. Pour in salad dressing, and toss to coat.

1 hoagie roll
2 slices deli ham
2 slices hard salami
1 slice provolone cheese
1/4 cup shredded lettuce
1/16 cup fresh onion
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 dash salt
1 dash ground pepper

Steps:

  • Cut open the hoagie bun length-wise.
  • Lay down the ham, salami and cheese on the top bun.
  • Add shredded lettuce to bottom bun, top with onions, basil, EVOO, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Close the bun!

1 lb provolone cheese, cut into chunks
20 pickled peppers, quartered
40 slices salami, thin and halved
40 green olives, small with pimento
40 black olives, pitted
40 wooden skewers

Steps:

  • Cut the provolone cheese into 40 small cubes. Wrap a slice of pepper around each cube.
  • Wrap salami around cheese and pepper twice, place on wooden skewer. On another skewer add one black olive, one piece cheese, and one green olive. Repeat until all skewers have been used.

3 cups uncooked cellentani pasta or elbow macaroni
1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
4 ounces provolone cheese, cubed (about 1 cup)
4 ounces hard salami, cubed (about 1 cup)
1/3 cup prepared Italian salad dressing
Optional: Additional Italian salad dressing and minced fresh basil

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine pepper, cheese and salami., Drain pasta and rinse in cold water. Add to pepper mixture. Drizzle with 1/3 cup dressing and toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour. If desired, stir in additional dressing to moisten and sprinkle with basil before serving.
