Steps:
- Place bacon in the bottom of a pressure cooker and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 8 minutes. Add onions; saute for 1 minute. Add green beans; toss until coated in bacon grease. Add water.
- Close cooker securely and place pressure regulator over vent according to manufacturer's instructions. Heat until steam escapes in a steady flow, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes. Let pressure release naturally according to manufacturer's instructions, 5 to 10 minutes. Unlock lid and remove. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Steps:
- 1. Wash, clean, snap green beans. Add green beans to your pot that comes with your electric pressure cooker and add enough water to just cover your green beans. I have made a full pot and half the pot and it takes the same amount of time.
- 2. Shut lid and set timer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, chopped bacon and brown in a small frypan.
- 3. Brown bacon till crispy and set aside until the 5 min are up on the green beans.
- 4. Release pressure and add all the bacon, grease too and the sugar. Stir and close lid and set timer for another 5 min.
- 5. Let beans set in pressure cooker until dinner (keep warm setting) and salt and pepper to taste before you serve them..
