Delicious pork chops and stuffing,with yummy gravy. I got this recipe from Home Cooking Magazine years ago from Janice Goff. Everyone who makes this loves them,tasty and tender,too.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 -6 pork chops
1 box stove top pork stuffing mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup water, mixed with
pork dripping
1/4 cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Brown chops.
  • Remove and add water to the frying pan.
  • Place chops in a single layer in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl,mix the vegetable packet from from the Stove Top mix with 1 cup very hot water and 1/2 stick melted butter.
  • Then add contents of crumb packet.
  • Mix well.
  • For as many chops,make a ball of stuffing and place on top of each chop.
  • Put soup into skillet containing the drippings,mix and pour over the chops and stuffing.
  • Bake uncovered, 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.

4 pork chops (1 inch thick)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups day-old French bread cubes (1/2 inch)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons chopped celery
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/3 cup water

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown the pork chops in oil. Place chops in an ungreased shallow baking pan. Toss bread cubes, butter, broth, celery, onion and poultry seasoning. Mound about 1/2 cup stuffing on each pork chop. , Combine soup and water; pour over chops. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until juices run clear and a thermometer reads 160° to 170°.

1 (6 ounce) package seasoned stuffing mix, for chicken
1 lb boneless pork loin chop (4 chops)
1 (10 ounce) can low-fat cream of mushroom soup
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F Prepare stuffing mix as directed on the package.
  • Meanwhile, heat large, ovenproof, nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops, cook 4 minutes on each side or until browned on both sides. Mix soup, onions and thyme; spoon over chops. Top each chop with 1/4 of the stuffing; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake 20 to 40 minutes or until chops are done (internal temperature of 160F).

1/16 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 (1 3/4 lb) pork chops, bone-in
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
3/4 cup celery, thinly sliced
3/4 cup carrot sticks
1/4 cup parsley, chopped, fresh
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
4 cups prepared stuffing, corn bread

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat 13x9-inch dish with nonstick cooking spray; set sdifr.
  • Combine butter in large skillet over medium-heat. Add pork chops. Cook 2 minutes or just until browned; turn over and cook 1 minute longer. Transfer to plate; set aside.

Honestly, when I went to try this recipe, I had my doubts -- 4 ingredients? Really?!? But my husband picked it from our church's cookbook, and I'm nothing if not consistent. Hah, show's what I know. It was really really good for something that's really really easy.

3 - 4 pork chops of pork steak
1 can(s) cream corn
4 - 5 slice bread
2 - 3 Tbsp onion, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Brown pork chops on both sides; place in baking dish. Mix cream corn and onion. Break bread into small pieces. Mix with creamed corn and onion. Spread over meat. Bake at 350*, for approximately 25 minutes (more if they're thick pork chops).

4 -6 pork chops, depending on size (or Chicken, pieces or breasts)
1 (6 ounce) box chicken (any kind...I use store brand) or 1 (6 ounce) box pork stuffing mix (any kind...I use store brand)
1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (or, your choice...mushroom,celery,etc.)
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 cup water
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup water (OR milk...to mix with soup)
6 ounces shredded cheese (type & amt. your choice...I vary,mozzarella,cheddar,colby..)
salt
pepper
garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Place chops in lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Mix stuffing with 1 cup water, melted butter and can of corn.
  • Spread stuffing mixture into dish, around and covering chops.
  • Mix soup with 1/2 cup water and pour over stuffing mixture, concentrated mainly over chops.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over all.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
