Number Of Ingredients 11

2 pounds ground beef
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped mushrooms, drained
2 large eggs, beaten
½ cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon minced garlic cloves
1 (4.5 ounce) can diced black olives
½ cup pepperoni slices
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine beef, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, bread crumbs, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a large bowl. Set aside a few teaspoons of olives for the topping; add remaining olives to the bowl. Knead with your hands until fully mixed.
  • Divide 1/2 of the beef mixture between two 8-1/2x4-1/2-inch metal or glass loaf pans, filling each halfway. Use your fingers to create a canoe shape lengthwise down the middle of each loaf. Place a layer of pepperoni slices down the middle; cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat with another layer of pepperoni slices and cheese. Reserve a handful of cheese for the topping.
  • Cover the pepperoni and cheese with the remaining beef mixture. Top meatloaves with a sprinkle of cheese and black olives.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until beef is no longer pink, about 50 minutes.

PIZZA DIP SURPRISE

Pizza Dip Surprise image

A great party treat, anywhere I take it I get asked for the recipe. Different from the others as it has sour cream in it as well. The best part is that you can add your favorite pizza toppings and change the dish its baked in to make it your own. I am a plain jane and like just the basic 4 ingredients but I've given a few more options as well. You can also make this ahead of time and just bake it when you get to the party.

Time 20m

Yield 10-12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 (14 ounce) jar Ragu pizza sauce, pizza quick sauce
1 (8 ounce) cream cheese
1 (12 ounce) sour cream
1 lb of shredded mozzarella cheese
tortilla chips
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more if you like it spicy)
1/2 teaspoon oregano
pepperoni
extra cheese
mushroom
onion
bell pepper (sweet, hot, bell etc)

Steps:

  • Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT 3/4 cup of the shredded cheese. (Pizza Toppings can be left as big or cut as small as you like).
  • Spread into a casserole or baking or oven proof dish. The thinner the dip is spread the quicker it will cook.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake @ 350 until cheese on top is melted (about 20 minutes) and then turn on the broiler for a few seconds (or minutes depending on the broiler) to brown the top a little.
  • Serve with the tortilla chips.
  • You should wait a few minutes for it to cool down before you eat it but we usually dig right in and burn our mouths because we just can't wait!
