1/2 lb hot Italian sausage
1 pastry for a double-crust 9-inch pie
3 eggs
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package sliced pepperoni, chopped
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup pizza sauce (use your favorite)
12 tablespoons additional pizza sauce (optional)

Steps:

  • Remove and discard casing from sausage.
  • Cook sausage in a medium skillet until browned, stirring to crumble; drain well, and set aside.
  • Line a 9-inch quiche dish or pieplate with half of pastry; flute edges.
  • Bake at 450 for 5 minutes; prick pastry with fork, and bake additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven; reduce oven temp to 350.
  • Combine eggs, ricotta cheese, and Italian seasoning; beat well.
  • Stir in cooked sausage,pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Spoon egg mixture into baked pastry shell.
  • Cut an 8-inch circle out of remaining pastry; cut circle into 6 wedges.
  • Arrange pastry wedges on top of filling.
  • Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool 10 minutes.
  • Spoon 2 T pizza sauce over each pastry wedge on top of quiche.
  • (you can skip this last part if you want to cut back on sauce, it's really just for looks).

Very satisfying for those low-carb pizza cravings. Even my carb-eating family loves this recipe. Obviously this is rich in calories and far from a fat-free quiche. Add your favorite pizza toppings if desired, such as pepperoni, sausage, bacon, chicken, peppers, onion, mushroom, etc.

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
½ (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 large eggs
⅓ cup heavy whipping cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup marinara sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a pie dish with cooking spray.
  • Press 2 cups mozzarella cheese into the bottom and sides of the prepared pie dish for the crust.
  • Beat cream cheese and eggs with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Pour into the pie dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with marinara sauce and remaining 1 cup mozzarella. Bake until bubbly, 10 to 12 more minutes.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

1 pie shell
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/4 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup mushroom, sliced
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon oregano
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cream

Steps:

  • Spread tomato sauce over pie shell.
  • Saute ground beef, onions, mushrooms and green pepper until beef is mostly browned.
  • Spread into pie crust.
  • Top with Mozzarella and oregano.
  • Combine eggs, milk and cream, pour over pie.
  • Bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until set.

This came from Betty Crocker's Website. It is rather like a pizza quiche pie. You can add whatever toppings you like along with the peppers. It's quick, easy and tasty!

1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
8 ounces pizza sauce
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
3/4-1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spray a 9 inch pie pan with cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle onion and parmesan cheese in bottom of pie pan.
  • Stir bisquick, milk and eggs til blended.
  • Pour into pie pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes.
  • Spread with pizza sauce and top with remaining ingredients.
  • Bake 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is light brown.
  • Cool five minutes before serving.

1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup chopped pepperoni
Fresh basil, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella and cheddar cheese in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, beat eggs, cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, garlic powder and Italian seasoning; pour into dish. Bake 30 minutes., Meanwhile, in a small skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-6 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Spread pizza sauce over egg mixture; top with sausage, pepperoni and remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake until golden brown and bubbly, 10-15 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. 1 unbaked pastry shell, 9 in
4 eggs
1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
12 slices pepperoni, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup black olives, sliced
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon basil

Steps:

  • Bake unbaked shell at 375° for 11 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the shell with 2/3 C swiss cheese.
  • In a bowl whisk eggs, cream, salt, oregano, cayenne, and pepper. Pour over cheese and bake 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • In a skillet, sauté onion in oil until tender.
  • Stir in tomatoes, thyme, sugar and basil and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes or until liquid evaporates.
  • Sprinkle remaining swiss over quiche. Top with the tomato mixture. Sprinkle pepperoni, mozzarella and olives on top.
  • Bake 5 minutes more until cheese has melted.
  • Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
