Pastel marshmallows give this salad a perky look. It makes enough for a crowd and nicely rounds out a brunch.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) fruit cocktail, drained
1 can (15 ounces) sliced peaches, drained and diced
6 medium firm bananas, sliced
3 cups pastel miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice (save remaining juice for another use). Cut cherries in half; set aside. , In a bowl, beat cream cheese and reserved cherry juice until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Fold in cherries, pineapple, fruit cocktail, peaches, bananas and marshmallows. Transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

8 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces cranberry sauce, whole
1 cup pineapple, crushed
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup Dream Whip

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple, and soften cream cheese.
  • Blend all ingredients except Dream Whip. Fold in Dream Whip.
  • Pour into muffin tins lined with paper bake cups and freeze.
  • After they are frozen, leave the paper cups on and put them in a plastic bag in the freezer, to be kept until ready to use.
  • Remove paper cups before serving.

1 8 oz package of cream cheese
2 tbl. mayonaise
2 tbl. sugar
1 8oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
1 8 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. Soften cream cheese and blend with mayonaise, sugar, cranberry sauce, pineapple and nuts. Mix well. Fold in cool whip. Place paper muffin cups in muffin tins and fill with salad mixture. Freeze. Remove from muffin tins and remove paper cups and serve on lettuce leaves. These can also be made and frozen for up to two months!

  • 1. Drain the cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice. Cut the cherries in half and set aside. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and reserved cherry juice until smooth. A mixture of fruits I found at the summer market with a creamy sweet dressing that is perfectly pink. I started realizing that not everyone might have access to these wonderful fruits, or they just may not be in season everywhere. If you can't get passion fruit, try subbing kiwi fruit or green seedless grapes in its place, just something gently tart. 1 whole pineapple, cut into chunks
2 cups chopped fresh mango
1 carambolas or 1 star fruit, sliced
2 ripe wrinkled passion fruit, split, with pulp removed and seeds strained out
1 (12 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained with syrup reserved
1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup white miniature marshmallows or 1 cup pink miniature marshmallow
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Mix fruits and marshmallows together in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together sour cream and powdered sugar with 1/4 cup of the reserved cherry syrup; discard the rest.
  • Gently fold sweetened sour cream dressing into fruit.
  • Cover and chill for several hours before serving (shows as cooking time).

1 small pkg strawberry/banana jello
1 bag small marshmallow
1/2 cup pecans
1 can fruit cocktail - drained
2 bananas
1 cup Cool Whip
1 cup Mayo
1 tsp sugar

Steps:

  • Make Jello per package instructions add marshmallows to the boiling water you have put over jello so they can melt slightly. Add fruit cocktail, bananas and pecans. When congealed, cover with topping of 1 cup Mayo and 1 cup of Cool Whip, 1 tsp sugar. Mix gently.
