Steps:

  • For dressing, mix first 4 ingredients. Place cabbage and pineapple in a large bowl. Add dressing; toss to coat., Refrigerate until serving. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.

1 (20 ounce) can pineapple, drained and cut into small pieces (drain all juice from pineapple. DO NOT used crushed.)
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
1 cup mayonnaise

salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Mix cabbage and pineapple.
  • Mix cream, mayo, sugar and vinegar.

2 green onions (chopped)

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Toss together shredded cabbage, onion, green onions, and crushed pineapple (don't drain your pineapple! You'll want the juice in there too!).
  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Pour liquid mixture into cabbage mix and toss.
  • Set in the fridge for at least two hours to let the flavors soak together.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.

6 c finely shredded cabbage
2 medium carrots, shredded
1 Tbsp grated onion
1 can(s) drained pineapple chunks, diced, 18 - 20 oz.
to taste salt and pepper
DRESSING
2/3 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp celery seed
1/2 c milk or half & half
1/2 c sugar

  • 1. Toss all the slaw mix ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • 2. Put all the dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk well
  • 3. Pour dressing over slaw mix and toss well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

4 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1/3 cup raisins

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tablespoons juice (discard remaining juice or save for another use). In a large bowl, combine the pineapple, cabbage, carrot and raisins. 1/2 head cabbage, finely sliced
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits (in juice undrained)
1/2 cup coleslaw dressing

Steps:

  • place pecans in a small saute pan on medium high, cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes OR until fragrant.
  • Drain the pineable reserving 1/4 cup juice (or more if you want the slaw sweeter) Place the juice and the slaw dressing in a large bowl and whisk until blended.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Chill for 2hours, stirring often. IF it seems dry add a bit more slaw dressing. It will create more juice the longer it chills.

1/2 jalapeno, minced
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup shredded green cabbage

Steps:

  • For the BBQ sauce: Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, whiskey, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes and mustard in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring, until warm and the sugar is melted.
  • For the chicken: Prepare a grill or grill pan for medium-high heat. Rub the chicken breasts and thighs with the oil, and sprinkle all over with the salt and pepper. Grill for 8 to 9 minutes per side, until white in the center. Shred the chicken and mix with some of the sauce.
  • For the coleslaw: Stir together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and some salt in a large bowl. Add the jalapeno, pineapple, green cabbage and red cabbage; toss well.
  • Serve the slaw and shredded chicken on the toasted buns.

  • Pour dressing over all, and toss.
  • Cover and refrigerate until needed.
  • You can also add a few green spring chopped onions if desired.

2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c pineapple tidbits, drained
2 Tbsp raisins

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots and red cabbage.
  • 2. In a another bowl, combine mayonnaise, heavy cream, vinegar, sugar and salt. Whisk together until smooth and sugar and salt are dissolved.
  • 3. Add mayo dressing to cabbage slaw and gently toss together until well-distributed. Add pineapple and raisins and gently toss to combine. Chill for about 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
