Easy to make and popular with most everyone, pickle roll ups (pinwheels) are a failproof appetizer. Pickle roll ups with ham are perfect for lunchboxes, too.

10 (6-inch) flour tortillas
8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese, softened
9 ounces thinly sliced deli ham
10 dill pickle spears

Steps:

  • Spread approximately 1 tablespoon softened cream cheese on each tortilla, going nearly to the edges. Arrange ham on each tortilla. Place pickle spear on one edge. Beginning at the pickle side, roll tortilla up tightly.
  • Tightly wrap each roll individually in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Slice into 1 -inch pinwheels to serve.

6 large flour tortillas
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 packet dry ranch salad dressing
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup black olives, chopped
2 tablespoons pimentos, chopped
3 green onions, chopped

Steps:

  • Mix all of the ingredients (except tortillas) together in a large bowl.
  • Spread the mixture thinly and evenly over each tortilla.
  • Roll up each tortilla tightly and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  • Cut the tortillas about an inch thick and place them on a serving tray.

We're always ready for a party. With a jar of dill pickles,cream cheese and a package of ham slices in the fridge this only takes a few minutes to make up! A great hit with everyone!

1 jar(s) valasic kosher dill pickles
1 package(s) philly whipped cream cheese
1 package(s) boiled ham, sliced

Steps:

  • Lay slices of ham on paper towel, place another towel on top and blot gently,spread cream cheese on ham slices. Take a pickle in a paper towel and squeeze gently to remove most of the juice. Lay on the ham slice and roll up tightly.
  • When the pickles are all rolled take a very sharp knife and slice into pinwheels cut the ends off and set aside. Lay the slices on serving platter.
  • I can't keep anyone watching to keep from eating as I'm cutting, so I tell them the ends are fair game!
  • When I buy my pickles, I look for the ones that are long,straight and slender, it makes rolling them up easier.

I first tried this recipe when a cousin brought it with her to a family dinner. I now take it with me to potlucks and always get rave reviews. They are very tasty and simple to make. There will be no leftovers when you make them, they have a funny way of disappearing fast. This is one of my favorite recipes to make.

1 jar dill pickle, spears
1 (8 ounce) package philiadelphia reduced-fat cream cheese, softened at room temperature
3 (1/2 lb) packages thinly sliced honey-roasted ham

Steps:

  • Spread thin layer of cream cheese on slice of meat.
  • Wrap one pickle with cheese covered meat slice.
  • Keep spreading the cheese on ham slices and wrapping the pickle spears up in them.
  • Place in a plastic container or decorative serving platter and chill for at least 1 hour, then slice rolls into wheels and stick toothpicks in them for serving.
  • The pickle will be surrounded by the cream cheese and wrapped with sliced meat in bite-size bundles.

2 (8 ounce) boxes cream cheese
1 cup pitted black olives, finely chopped
2 tablespoons pimientos, finely chopped
1 ounce ranch dressing
2 tablespoons green jalapenos, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Soften cream cheese
  • Mix in the powdered Ranch dressing
  • Add the pimentos, black olives and the jalapeños.
  • Spread evenly over the flour tortillas using a rubber spatula.

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

  • In a food processor, add the cream cheese, salami and horseradish; cover and process until blended. Spread over ham slices. , Remove stems and ends of okra pickles.
