- Brown the meat in a heavy skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. (Leave it a little chunky.) Stir in the salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Remove meat from skillet. If needed, drain all except about 2 teaspoons of the excess grease from the skillet; add the chopped onions and bell pepper and cook just until tender and beginning to brown. Add a little salt and pepper. When the onions and bell pepper are done, add the meat back to the skillet and stir together. Remove from heat. Butter one side of enough bread slices to make 4 to 5 sandwiches. With the buttered sides down of 4 to 5 slices of bread, add a slice of cheese to each slice of bread. Top cheese with the meat mixture. Place another slice of cheese on top of the meat mixture. Cover each sandwich with a top slice of bread, buttered sides facing up. In a heavy, large skillet or griddle on medium heat, place the sandwiches and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or until bread is browned and cheese is melted. Serve immediately and enjoy!

From BS in the Kitchen, this sandwich fills the bill. And Kraft olive oil with cracked black pepper sets it off beautifully. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I tweaked it just a tad with my mayo and mushrooms . photo from BS in the Kitchen.

- Heat olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add sliced onions
- After 5 minutes, add peppers, garlic and mushrooms. Cook 2 more minutes.
- Add sliced steak, cooking til desired doneness, add more salt and pepper if desired.
- Butter the bread on the outside, add mayo on the inside. Place 2 slices of cheese on each slice of bread and place steak mixture inside.
- Grill until cheese is gooey and bread on each side is crispy and browned. Enjoy! !

- Pour olive oil into a medium skillet and place over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add sliced green bell pepper and sliced yellow onion. Cook until vegetables are soft and then season with salt and pepper. Remove vegetables to a plate and set aside while you prepare you sandwiches. Preheat your panini press to medium. Butter one side of your bread slices. Flip over two slices and start layering your sandwiches: cheese, handful of pepper-onion mixture, ¼ pound roast beef and another slice of cheese. Place in panini press, close the lid, and press until the bread is toasted, the inside of the sandwich is warm and the cheese is melted.
