I'm single and I love finding recipes that are both inexpensive and fast to fix. These little pizza-flavored pockets call for on-hand ingredients and bake in just 10 minutes in the toaster oven.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 tablespoons tomato sauce
3/4 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tube (6 ounces) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
10 slices pepperoni
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, oil and seasonings. Cut each biscuit in half. Place 1 pepperoni slice on each half; fold dough over pepperoni and pinch edges to seal. Dip in tomato mixture. , Place in a shallow baking pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in a toaster oven at 450° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

1 (7 ounce) package martha white quick and easy cheddar garlic biscuit mix
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon red pepper (cayenne)
1/2 cup milk

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F (425°F for dark pan). Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray or lightly grease.
  • Combine biscuit mix, pepperoni, basil and red pepper in medium mixing bowl. Add milk; stir until soft dough forms. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 450°F (425°F for dark pan) for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
