2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3 cups shredded pepper Jack cheese
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese
TOPPING:
3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup cheddar french-fried onions, crushed

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside., In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt, mustard, pepper and Worcestershire sauce until smooth; gradually add milk and cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Stir in cheeses until melted. Stir macaroni into cheese mixture., Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, bacon, Parmesan cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

●2 cups (8 ounces) dry elbow macaroni
●2 cups (8-ounce package) shredded cheddar cheese
●2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Pepper Jack cheese, divided
● 1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
●1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
●1/2 to 1 cup broken tortilla chips (your choice of color)
●1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  • Cook macaroni in large saucepan according to package directions; drain. Return to saucepan.
  • Add cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 cups Pepper Jack cheese, evaporated milk and black pepper to macaroni; stir until combined. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Combine remaining 1/2 cup Pepper Jack cheese, tortilla chips and red pepper flakes in small bowl. Sprinkle over top. Cover tightly with foil.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake for an additional 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

This is good and creamy with 2 cheeses, pepper Jack and chedder, and add a little zing to it by sprinkling a little Red Pepper Flakes on it. also crushed Tortilla chips . Not your same old Mac and Cheese.

2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese ( 8 oz. )
2 cup(s) shredded pepper jack cheese ( 8 oz. )
1 can(s) evaporated milk (12 oz. )
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
- 1/2 to 1 cup broken tortilla chips ( your choice of color or kind )
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes ( opt. )

Steps:

  • Pre- Heat oven to 350 - grease a 2 1/2 Qt. Casserole Dish Set Aside - In a large sauce pan , Cook the Macaroni by the Pkg. Directions, And Drain , and return to the sauce pan , add to the macaroni in the pan, all the cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 cups of the pepper jack cheese, evap. milk, and Black Pepper, Stir to combine well.
  • pour macaroni into the prepared casserole dish - In a Bowl stir togeather the remaining 1/2 cup pepper jack cheese, the broken tortilla chips, and the red pepper flakes. Sprinkle mixture over the top of the macaroni. Cover the top of dish tightly with Foil. - Bake for 20 minutes covered - Remove Foil and Bake 10 minutes or untill lightly browned on top . Serve as a main dish or side dish .
