Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- In a med. bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and oats.
- Mix well and set aside. In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at med. speed.
- Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Beat at med. speed until light and fluffy.
- Add flour mixture, pecans and chocolate chips and blend at low speed just until combined.
- Do not overmix.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1 1/2" apart. Bake for 20-22 min.

I haven't yet tried this chocolate chip cookie recipe though I have had great success with every cookie recipe I've tried in my Mrs. Field's Cookie Book. Posted at the request of a zaar member.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix well with wire whisk.
- Set aside.
- In a large bowl blend brown and white sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed.
- Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour mixture, pecans, and chocolate chips, and blend at low speed until just combined.
- DO NOT OVERMIX!
- Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1 1/2 inches apart.
- Bake for 20 to 22 minutes.
- Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool flat surface.

MRS. FIELDS COOKIE RECIPE I
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until very smooth and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. In a food processor, blend oatmeal until fine. Add to flour mixture.
- Stir butter mixture into flour/oatmeal mixture. Blend well.
- Add chocolate chips and walnuts. Stir until blended. Roll into golf balls size and bake for 8-10 minutes. You do not want to over bake these.
