Steps:

  • In a double old-fashioned glass, combine 2 peach slices, 3 blackberries, mint, honey, and lemon juice. Mash gently with the back of a spoon until fruit releases juices. Add bourbon, remaining peach slices, and remaining blackberries. Fill glass with ice and top with seltzer.

½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix peaches, blackberries, 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Pour butter into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish and evenly coat the bottom and sides. Whisk flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl; mix in milk, stirring just to moisten dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and distribute fruit mixture evenly over the batter.

3 cups fresh blackberries
3 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
3 tablespoons cornstarch
¾ cup white sugar
1 double crust ready-to-use pie crust
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Mix the blackberries, peaches, cornstarch, and sugar in a large bowl.
  • Press one of the pie crusts into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan. Pour the blackberry mixture into the pie crust. Cover with the remaining pie crust. Crimp the edges of the two crusts together to seal. Cut slits in the top of the pie to vent. Brush the top with the melted butter. Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg over the top.

4 bags black tea
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (about 30), plus sprigs for garnish
1/4 cup sugar
24 ounces peach nectar
4 large ripe peaches, pitted and sliced, plus more slices for garnish

Steps:

  • Add 4 cups water to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the tea bags. Remove from the heat after 1 minute. Let steep for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
  • Pour the tea into a 1/2-gallon container and store, covered, in the refrigerator overnight (or until completely cool).
  • Combine the mint leaves and sugar in a large bowl and use a muddling stick or the back of a wooden spoon (see Cook's Note) to muddle the mint and sugar together until the mint turns dark green and has released its juices. Transfer the contents to a large travel-friendly container or punch bowl.
  • Add the cooled black tea, peach nectar and peach slices to the mint mixture and stir until combined. Serve over ice garnished with mint sprigs and additional peach slices.

1 quart blackberry
1 tablespoon lemon juice
5 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (1 2/3 ounce) box powdered fruit pectin

Steps:

  • Peel and chop peaches. Put peaches, blackberries and lemon into a pot, stir to coat the fruit with the lemon juice and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  • Add the powdered fruit pectin and bring to a boil again. Add the sugar and cinnamon and bring to a hard, rolling boil. Boil for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  • Ladle into hot, sterilized 8 oz. jars and seal. Process in water-bath canner for 10 minutes.
