Do you need something to feed some hungry kids (or adults!) in a hurry? This easy Animal Cookie Snack Mix is ready in less than 5 minutes, and is sure to please!

2 cups Mini Nilla Wafers
2 cups animal crackers
2 cups Scooby-Doo Graham Cracker Sticks (cinnamon or honey)
1 cup Peanut M&Ms
6- ounce bag Oreo Thins Bites
5 Tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon apple pie spice

Steps:

  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, mix the Nilla Wafers, animal crackers, and Scooby Doo Grahams.
  • Place butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave to melt.
  • Stir apple pie spice into melted butter.
  • Pour butter mixture over cookie mixture and toss (with a soft silicone spatula) to coat.
  • Microwave cookie mixture on high for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir (being sure to scrape the bottom of the bowl).
  • Microwave cookie mixture on high for 1 more minute.
  • Remove from microwave, carefully stir, and spread out on paper towels to cool.
  • When the cookies are cool, return to the bowl and add the M&Ms and Oreos. Gently toss to mix.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Store leftovers in an air-tight container or Ziploc bags.

A little bit of salt, a little bit of heat, a lot of satisfying crunch: this winning party mix gets an extra kick from hot pepper sauce and garlic.

4 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
2 cups small pretzel sticks
2 cups Spanish peanuts or mixed nuts
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzel sticks and peanuts.
  • In small bowl, mix butter, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt and garlic powder. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat. Spread in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally. Cool 30 minutes. Store in tightly covered container.
