Steps:
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 8x12 inch baking dish.
- 2 In a large bowl mix the cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar. Beat the sour cream and eggs to the butter sugar mixture. Add the milk and the dry ingredients, a third at a time and alternating wet/dry. Mix in the green chiles, corn, and shredded cheese. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
- 3 Bake for 35 minutes, or until top is browned, the center springs back when pressed down, and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool almost completely before serving.

- Heat oven to 400°F. Spray bottom of 9-inch square pan with cooking spray or grease with shortening.
- Stir Bisquick mix, cornmeal, sugar, salt, milk, oil and eggs in medium bowl just until moistened. Gently stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pan.
- Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until light brown. Serve warm

- Preheat oven to 350*F.
- Heat the oil in a 9-10 inch cast iron skillet or baking pan in oven.
- In a large bowl, sift cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl; stir mixture together.
- Remove the hot pan from the oven; pour in batter.
- Bake 25 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown and the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Cool 5 minutes before cutting.

- Clean the chile, remove the seeds and dice them.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Grease a 9x9 square baking dish. (I use stoneware).
- Combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Pour into prepared baking dish.
- You can top with a little extra cheese, if desired.
- Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with butter.
- This can also be made in muffin tins.
- Variation: Add crumbled crisp bacon and 1/2 cup sour cream.
