1 package frozen dinner roll
1 (3 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup pecans

Steps:

  • Layer in a greased bundt cake pan in the following order:.
  • frozen rolls.
  • powdered pudding.
  • brown sugar.
  • cinnamon.
  • melted butter.
  • pecans.
  • Cover the pan with foil topped with a clean towel and allow to sit overnite.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

- 3 cups flour
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 carton ricotta cheese, 15 oz
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. toasted wheat germ
- 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Lightly grease bottom and ½ inch up the sides of a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Set aside. In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In large mixing bowl, beat butter with mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar; beat til mixed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in ricotta cheese. Beat in as much of the flour mixture as you can. Using a wooden spoon, stir in any remaining flour mixture. Spread batter in prepared pan. In another bowl, mix nuts, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Cover and chill for up to 24 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350. Uncover pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or til wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool slightly; Serve warm. Makes 15 servings.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon, divided
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, divided
2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk (or sour milk)
1 cup apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 cup black walnuts or pecans

Steps:

  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, cream granulated sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and butter. Mix in eggs, buttermilk and flour mixture. Fold in apples. Pour into a 9x13 greased baking pan.
  • For topping, combine remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar, walnuts, and 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over batter. Cover with foil and put in refrigerator until next morning.
  • Uncover and let stand 30 minutes. Bake 45 minutes in a 350°F oven.
