Perfect recipe for a holiday ham. I use it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very sweet and easy to make!

2 tablespoons orange juice
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup honey
¼ teaspoon almond extract
1 (8 pound) fully cooked whole ham

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Stir the orange juice, cinnamon, clove, and honey together in a small bowl; set aside. Stir in almond extract if desired.
  • Place the ham in a shallow roasting pan. Bake in the preheated oven 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove the ham from the oven, and baste with the honey glaze. Return to the oven; continue cooking until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), about 45 minutes longer. Baste occasionally as the ham finishes baking.

1 (5 pound) fully cooked ham (pre-sliced if you can)
1/4 cup Whole Cloves
1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
3/4 cup Pineapple Juice
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Honey
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
2 Oranges, juiced
Zest (from one orange)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven according to directions on ham. 2. Stud with the whole cloves about 1 - 2 inch spacing. Place ham in roasting pan. 3. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, orange juice, orange zest, ground cloves, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. 4. Brush glaze over ham, and bake according to directions on ham in the preheated oven. Baste ham every 10 minutes with the honey glaze. During the last 5 minutes of baking, turn on broiler to caramelize the glaze. Remove from oven, and let sit a few minutes before serving.

Preheat oven to 325?F. Remove ham from all packaging. Place ham on large cutting board, fat side up. Score ham in diamond pattern with 1/4-inch deep cuts. Place one whole clove in center of each diamond. Place ham in large roasting pan, scored side up. Cover with aluminum foil. Cook according to package directions, until internal temperature reaches 140?F, about 13-15 minutes per pound. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl and set near the store so it gets nice and warm. Half way through cooking time, remove aluminum foil and baste ham with glaze. Repeat every 20-30 minutes until ham is cooked through. The more you glaze the prettier the ham will be. Remove ham from oven, let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot or cold.
