This recipe is easy to make and great to eat so many different ways. Perfect in the Summer time with a great glass of Iced Tea.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2-2 lbs fresh shrimp
2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning (or add more for hotter taste)
1/4 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
mayonnaise (enough for Tuna Fish consistency)

Steps:

  • Steam the Shrimp sprinkled with Old Bay (Do not boil them) Vegetable steamer works well.
  • set aside and let cool.
  • Remove shells from shrimp and cut into 3 pieces for each shrimp.
  • Add all other ingrediates and chill for at least 1 hour to let the flavors mix together.
  • Serve on Bread or toast.
  • Serve on Crackers or Stuff into a fresh tomato or just on a Salad.

1/3 cup low-fat mayonnaise
1/3 cup celery, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 lb medium shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
your favorite lettuce (optional)
croissants (optional) or sandwich roll (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook shrimp: In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water to boil. Add unpeeled shrimp. Cover. Cook about 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink. Drain. Cool shrimp. Remove shells and devein.
  • In a large bowl, mix first 4 ingredients. Add shrimp. Toss to coat, then cover.
  • Refrigerate 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
  • Stir before serving on a bed of lettuce or in a croissant/sandwich roll.

3 quarts water
1/4 cup Old Bay Seasoning
2 lbs unpeeled medium shrimp
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 green lettuce leaves
assorted cracker

Steps:

  • Bring 3 quarts water and 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning to boil in a large pot; add in shrimp; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until shrimp turn pink; drain.
  • Pour shrimp into a 13x9 inch pan to cool.
  • Peel shrimp and devein; chop shrimp.
  • In a bowl, stir the celery and next 5 ingredients together; stir in shrimp.
  • Cover and chill 2 or more hours.
  • Serve on lettuce leaves with assorted crackers.

2 cups small shell pasta, uncooked
1 1/2 pounds cooked shrimp, halved
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
2 teaspoons OLD BAY® Seasoning

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in boiling salted water as directed on package. Rinse under cold water. Drain well. Place cooked pasta, shrimp, celery, green and red bell peppers and red onion in large bowl; toss to blend well. Mix mayonnaise, Italian dressing and Old Bay in small bowl. Pour over pasta mixture; mix well. Cover. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with additional Old Bay, if desired
