Time 1h

Yield 16 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate squares
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line bottom and sides of an 8-inch pan with aluminum foil, allowing 2 to 3 inches to extend over sides; lightly grease foil.
  • Microwave chocolate squares and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl at HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring at 30-second intervals. Whisk in granulated and brown sugars. Add eggs, 1 at a time, whisking just until blended after each addition. Whisk in flour, vanilla, and salt.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 to 44 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely on a wire rack (about 1 hour). Lift brownies from pan, using foil sides as handles. Gently remove foil, and cut brownies into 16 squares.

OUTRAGEOUSLY AMAZING ONE-BOWL 5-INGREDIENT BROWNIES

Outrageously Amazing One-Bowl 5-Ingredient Brownies image

This is my favorite brownie recipe! Chewy, fudgy, oh-so-chocolatey brownies made from scratch - with zero hassle or fuss. This outrageously amazing recipe only requires one-bowl, 5-ingredients, and 30 minutes in the oven. Cue the happy dance!

Time 2h40m

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 ounces dark or bitter-sweet chocolate chips/ baking chocolate
1 and 1/2 sticks (170 grams) unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk, at room temperature
1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
  • In a large, microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Stir; return to microwave and heat for 30 seconds more, continue this process until chocolate is melted.
  • Add sugar and beat well. Then add eggs, yolk, and finally flour, stir until just combined! Be sure not to over mix the batter or your final product will be cake like brownies, not chewy ones.
  • Pour batter into a lightly greased 9x9" glass baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven; let cool for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours), then cut into squares and serve!
