Number Of Ingredients 4

Scant 1/3 cup loose green or oolong tea
1/2 cup fresh medium mint leaves
1/2 cup granulated sugar or to taste
6 cups boiling water

Steps:

  • 1. In a prewarmed 6-cup teapot, place the green tea, mint leaves, and sugar. Pour in the boiling water and let steep for 4 to 6 minutes.Note: To toast sesame seeds, preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spread the seeds on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Since sesame seeds have a high oil content and can quickly become rancid, it's best to buy them in small amounts and use them relatively quickly. Seeds should be kept in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. If refrigerated, they'll last for up to 6 months, and if frozen, up to 1 year. From Holiday Baking.
