Number Of Ingredients 8

⅔ cup (5oz/142g) butter, melted
2 cups (6oz/170g) Oreo cookie crumbs
1 cup (8floz/225ml) heavy whipping cream
¾ cup (7 ½oz/213g) sweetened condensed milk, cold
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup (1 ½oz/43g) peanuts, roasted and salted
⅓ cup (2 ½oz/71g) smooth peanut butter
Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce.

Steps:

  • Butter and line a 9" cake pan with 3 layers of cling wrap. This will help you remove your pie later.
  • Mix the melted butter with the Oreo cookie crumbs in a medium bowl until you've reached the texture of wet sand.
  • Transfer the crust mixture into a 9 cake pan and press the cookies around the base and up the sides of the pan using your fingertips. Place in the fridge to set for 30 minutes
  • Using a stand mixer or electric hand mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  • Pour in the condensed milk and vanilla into the whipped cream and continue whipping until your mixture is thick and to stiff peaks.
  • Chop the peanuts roughly and stir into the cream mix followed by the peanut butter.
  • Pour the peanut butter mix into the prepared pie crust. Smooth out the surface with a spatula. Freeze for a minimum of 5 hours. The pie will keep in the freezer for 6 weeks.
  • To serve, cut a big slice and pour over the Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce.

NO-BAKE PEANUT BUTTER-FUDGE ICE-CREAM PIE RECIPE

No-Bake Peanut Butter-Fudge Ice-Cream Pie Recipe image

With its creamy filling and crispy crust, this frozen peanut butter pie is made for summer cookouts. Nothing cools you down in the summertime like a slice of a creamy, frozen pie. A secret to keeping the pie neat is to use a hot knife for slicing each serving. Dip the blade in a glass of very hot water, then wipe it off before slicing into the pie. Repeat before cutting each new slice.

Time 8h40m

Yield Serves 8

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 cups chocolate crisp rice cereal (such as Cocoa Krispies)
1/2 cup salted dry-roasted peanuts, finely chopped
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Hot fudge topping
Coarsely chopped salted dry-roasted peanuts

Steps:

  • Stir together cereal, finely chopped peanuts, and butter in a medium bowl. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of a lightly greased 9-inch glass pie plate. Freeze until solid, 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Microwave peanut butter in a small microwave-safe bowl on HIGH until melted and smooth, about 30 seconds. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place ice cream in the bowl of a heavy-duty stand mixer; beat on medium-low until smooth, about 30 seconds. Drizzle peanut butter into ice cream, beating on low just until incorporated, about 30 seconds.
  • Spread ice cream mixture into frozen pie shell. Cover and freeze until firm, 8 hours, or up to 24 hours.
  • Before serving, remove pie from freezer, and leave out at room temperature 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat cream and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until foamy, about 30 seconds. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until soft peaks form, 30 seconds to 1 minute. Spread whipped cream evenly over pie. Drizzle with fudge topping, and sprinkle with coarsely chopped peanuts.

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE PIE

Although I make this fudgy peanut butter pie regularly for luncheons at our church, I've yet to eat a full piece. Usually, there's nothing left but crumbs! With a premade chocolate crust, it's simple to prepare. It travels well, too.

PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE PIE

Peanut Butter Fudge Pie image

This is a combination of a recipe Mom Meyer gave me and one I found on Zaar. The fudge layer adds some interest. I reduced the sugar and increased the peanut butter from other recipes. This is a good summer treat, and can be frozen for a while. Thaw at least a few hours before eating in the fridge or an hour before on the counter.
