Steps:
- 1. Dissolve Jello in hot water.Add pineapple juice and cold mountain dew.Chill to thicken.Add cool whip and pie filling to thickened jello.Set.Cut into squares and garnish with cool whip and cherries,if desired.
LEMON MOUNTAIN DEW SALAD
Made frequently for church potlucks. This is a good salad for salad luncheons. Time doesn't include the time to set in refrigerator.

Steps:
- Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Let cool until syrupy.
- Add Mountain Dew, drained pineapple, 1 cup of the lemon pie filling and the marshmallows.
- Pour into 9x13 pan and refrigerate.
- Once set, mix remaining lemon pie filling with the 2 cups Cool Whip and spread on top of salad.
- Refrigerate until serving.

COOL AND CREAMY MOUNTAIN DEW SALAD
I've had this recipe since right after highschool, so I have no idea where it came from! It's just a very simple salad, that I still happen to love to this day! Pretty pastel colors, too!

Steps:
- Cook pudding according to package directions. Cover top of pudding with plastic wrap to prevent top from forming that rubbery layer on top. Place in fridge and chill.
- Dissolve lemon jello in boiling water, add mountain dew and juice from pineapple. Chill until it starts to thicken but not set.
- Mix jello, pudding and cool whip with electric mixer.
- Fold in pineapple and marshmallows, pour into large bowl and chill.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water and add Mountain Dew; cool slightly.
