EASY POPCORN BALLS RECIPE
Marshmallow Popcorn Balls are SO easy and fast and they're totally foolproof. These are a perfect classic childhood treat that you can dress up for any holiday or occasion.

Steps:
- Place popcorn in a large pot or bowl.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add corn syrup, water, powdered sugar and marshmallows. Heat and stir the mixture until it boils. Remove from heat and stir in salt and vanilla.
- Pour the mixture carefully over the popcorn and stir to coat each kernel. Do this carefully - the mixture is very hot.
- Grease your hands with additional butter and shape coated popcorn into popcorn balls. Work quickly to make all the balls before they cool.
- Wrap each ball in plastic wrap. Decorate as desired. Store at room temperature.

- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Set aside.
- Add vegetable oil to a 4 quart saucepan, and heat over high heat. When oil is hot, add popping corn. Keep pan moving constantly. When corn stops popping, remove from heat. Put popcorn in prepared pan.
- Melt butter In a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in marshmallows and cook until melted, stirring constantly. Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn and mix with spoon to coat evenly.
- Let mixture cool slightly. Smear butter on your hands or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Mix popcorn with your hands so that it is evenly coated.
- Form popcorn into 8 balls.

Steps:
- Put the popped popcorn in a large bowl or pan; set aside.
- In large microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter on high until butter is melted, about 30-45 seconds.
- Add marshmallows.
- Microwave on high until marshmallows look puffy, about 1 to 1-1/2 minutes.
- Stir to completely melt marshmallows. Add food coloring if using.
- Now pour melted marshmallows over the popcorn and mix carefully until the popcorn is coated.
- Butter your hands to protect them from the heat and shape into balls.
- Wrap each ball in plastic wrap until ready to eat!
HOMEMADE MICROWAVE POPCORN

Steps:
- Pour kernels into a small paper bag (standard lunch size is fine) and fold the top of the bag over twice to close (each fold should be 1/2 inch deep; remember the kernals need room to pop).
- Seal the bag with 2 staples placed 2 to 3 inches apart. (Editor's Note: Using metal staples in a microwave can be hazardous, please consider an alternate method).
- Place bag in microwave on carousel. Cook on high 2-3 minutes, or until the pops are 5 seconds apart. Pour in melted butter and salt and shake the bag to distribute.
