This savory casserole of ground beef, kidney beans, taco sauce and green chilies is covered with a cheesy rice polenta then baked for a hearty meal.

1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (19 oz.) red kidney beans, drained
1 jar (8 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Sauce
1 can (4.25 oz.) chopped green chiles, drained
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2 cups milk
1/2 cup creamy rice hot cereal, uncooked
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Brown meat with onion in large skillet; drain. Stir in beans, taco sauce, green chilies, chili powder, salt and oregano. Spoon into 2-quart shallow baking dish; set aside.
  • Bring milk just to boil in medium saucepan. Gradually add cereal, stirring constantly. Cook on medium heat 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cover; let stand 5 minutes. Add cheese; stir until melted. Spread over meat mixture in baking dish.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 lb spaghetti or 1/2 lb noodles
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground cheese
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
garlic
1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons chili peppers
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (4 ounce) can pitted black olives

Steps:

  • While making sauce, cook spaghetti or noodles.
  • Drain well.
  • Brown beef until partly done.
  • Add onion, pepper and garlic.
  • When beef is brown, add spagetti, tomatoes, corn, salt, pepper, chili powder, worcestershire sauce and olives.
  • Bake 1 hr covered at 325°F.

3/4 pound velveeta
1 4oz. can diced chilies
chile powder
durkee red hot
1 bag copes frozed white corn (thawed)
1 small jar pimiento diced
one small onion diced and sauteed
milk to thin

  • Cook rice. Add all other ingredients. Pour into greased casserole Bake at 350f for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden

16 oz Can tomatoes (cut up)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground coriander
5 oz Jar American cheese spread
24 Freezer Meatballs *
16 oz Can hominy (drained)
2 to 3 Tbs Canned green chili peppers (rinsed, seeded, and chopped)
2 C Corn or tortilla chips ( coarsely crushed)

Steps:

  • In a blender container, combine undrained tomatoes, salt, and coriander. Cover; blend until smooth. Add cheese spread. Cover; blend until smooth. Pour tomato cheese mixture into an oven safe skillet; add Freezer Meatballs, hominy, and chopped green chilies. Bring to boiling, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a 350 F oven.
