MARSHMALLOW APPLE CRISP
This may sound a bit strange, but it is really a rich and delicious recipe. The topping forms a soft golden brown crust that is somewhat cookie-like. It compliments the tartness of the apples very well. Enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix the apple slices, white sugar, 2 1/2 tablespoons of flour, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together until thoroughly combined; spread out into a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter with nutmeg and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon; stir in the brown sugar, oats, 1 cup of flour, and mini marshmallows until thoroughly combined. Spread the marshmallow topping evenly over the apples, and gently flatten the topping to a smooth layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.

MARSHMALLOW APPLE CRISP
This recipe came from Women's Circle Magazine many years ago. This is a great dish and is easy to make. Its different than any other apple crisp I have ever seen. I take this to chuch potlucks and make it for holidays and everyone likes it very much.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place apples and water in an 8 inch square baking pan. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutesor until apples are tender.
- 2. Remove pan from oven and turn oven to broil. Sprinkle marshmallows over apple mixture. Broil for a few minutes (watch carefully) until marshmallows are melted and browned to your liking.

- 2. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, & salt.
- 3. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over apples.
- 4. Bake @ 350 for 35 - 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
- 5. Remove from oven.
- 6. Sprinkle with miniature marshmallows and broil until lightly browned.
