MACAROON APPLE PIE

Macaroon Apple Pie image

My DH really enjoys this pie. Well, we all do, but it combines two of his favorite things - apple pie and coconut. He especially likes it warmed up with ice cream on top. This pie freezes well also.

MY GRANDMOTHER'S APPLE MACAROON

My Grandmother's Apple Macaroon image

A apple cinnamon & pecan filling covered by a crispy crust. This is a farovite of mine that I found in my grandmothers recipe book. When I say recipe book I don't mean a store bought one. This was written in her own hand. I do hope you enjoy as much as I do.
