2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter-slightly softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3 (3-ounce) bars bittersweet chocolate, cut into 1/4 inch chunks
1 cup (6 ounces) peanut butter chips
1 cup unsalted macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped*

Steps:

  • Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Have ready 2 ungreased baking sheets. In a medium bowl, gently whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer, using the paddle attachment beat the butter at medium high speed until creamy, about 1 minute. Gradually add the granulated and light brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary. At low speed, add the dry ingredients in 3 additions, mixing just until blended. Add the bittersweet chocolate, peanut butter chips and macadamia nuts and mix just until blended.
  • Drop the dough by scant 1/4 cup measures onto the baking sheets, spacing them 3 inches apart. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, until light brown on the edges. Transfer to wire racks and cool completely.

1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped peanut butter cups (about six 1.6-ounce packages)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter cups., Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.

1 cup creamy peanut butter, divided
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
4-1/2 teaspoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
4 milk chocolate candy bars (1.55 ounces each), coarsely chopped
Colored sprinkles, optional

Steps:

  • Combine 1/2 cup peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, butter and salt until smooth. , In a microwave, melt chocolate chips, candy bars and remaining peanut butter; stir until smooth., Drop teaspoons of chocolate mixture into paper-lined mini muffin cups. Drop a scant teaspoon of peanut butter mixture into each cup; top with another teaspoon of chocolate mixture. If desired, decorate with sprinkles. Refrigerate until set. 2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in brown sugar until combined. Add Bisquick mix, chocolate chips and nuts, stirring just until moistened. Dough will be crumbly.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.
  • Bake about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
