EASY CHEESY TUNA SPREAD
There are so many tuna spread recipes that I thought long and hard about posting this one. This is a very good spread to serve at a party with crisp crackers or as a dip for fresh veggies. It is also great as a sandwich filling.

EASY DELICIOUS TUNA SPREAD (NON-DAIRY)
The simplest part about preparing for any dinner party! Whenever I take it to a barbecue or potluck it disappears in a flash. Plus it keeps well in the fridge and is totally addictive. Can be served on crackers, as a spread, or in a small bowl as a side-dish. (Cooking time is for boiling eggs.)

Steps:
- Using a fork, squash the egg thoroughly until uniform in texture and colour.
- Add sandwich tuna.
- If using tuna in water, add olive oil; if using tuna in oil, leave it out.
- It's possible to use chunk tuna instead, you just have to put more effort into squashing it well.
- Add the chopped onion, mix and squash a bit with the fork-- I find this releases the juice from the onion and adds flavour without giving it that'onion-y' taste.
- Add mayonnaise and mix well.
- Serve in a small bowl and garnish with parsley as desired.
- Also works well on crackers or as a spread.
- Keeps in the refrigerator for at least a week-- I haven't tried longer than this because it always gets eaten!

Steps:
- 1. Drain and squeeze tuna fish until looks dry. Set aside.
- 2. Remove shells from eggs, cut into chunk, set aside.
- 3. Mix together, mix well, cheez whiz, mayonnaise, cream cheese, onion powder, red pepper, worchestershire sauce. Next add tuna fish and mix again.
- 4. Add chunked egg pieces, and cubed cheddar cheese pieces to the tuna mixture, stir together. Refrigerate for 1 hour or you can use it right away. I think the refrigerating helps blend the flavors.
- 5. Put tuna/egg spread on toasted bread or toasted buns. Broil on low, watch carefully so doesn't burn. (I use Udi's sandwich bread because I must have a gluten free diet.)
TUNA CHEESE SPREAD
The flavor of tuna is very subtle in this thick and creamy spread. It's terrific on crackers or carrot and celery sticks, stuffed in a tomato or used for a sandwich. -Dorothy Anderson, Ottawa, Kansas

TUNA SANDWICH SPREAD
From my grandma's recipes. Tuna in oil contains vitamin E, unlike tuna in water, so that's what I always choose.
