Sweet, salty, cool and crunchy, this salad is a great addition to any family buffet.

1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O® mix
1 (3 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
4 cups boiling water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
½ cup chopped pimento-stuffed green olives
2 carrots, peeled and grated

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, stir together the lemon gelatin mix, lime gelatin mix, and boiling water until gelatin has dissolved. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, cover, and refrigerate for about 1 hour to thicken.
  • When the gelatin is thick but not set, stir in the celery, olives, and carrot so they are evenly dispersed throughout. Pour into a 1 quart mold and refrigerate until firm, at least 3 hours. To serve, unmold onto a plate.

1 (6 ounce) package lemon Jell-O gelatin or 1 (6 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (not fat free)
1/2 cup nuts
1 (11 ounce) can 7-up or 1 (11 ounce) can carbonated lemon-lime beverage
1 cup water, boiling
1 (6 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

Steps:

  • Dissolve the jello in the hot water and then cream the cheese into it using a mixer, until smooth.
  • Stir in the pineapple and nuts.
  • Stir in the Sprite.
  • Pour in a mold and chill.

This is a great jello salad that my grandmother made one year for Thanksgiving. We have made it many times since then and it is always enjoyed by everyone. The list of ingredients may sound strange, but it truly is a great tasting little dessert. Light and sweet and fruity !

1 (3 ounce) package lemon Jell-O gelatin
1 (3 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup Miracle Whip
1 teaspoon horseradish
1 (24 ounce) carton cottage cheese
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Mix the 2 packages of jello with the 2 cups boiling water. Stir to dissolve well.
  • Add the cold water and chill the jello until it is just slightly thick.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients and chill until completely set.
  • Serve and enjoy!

1 (6 ounce) package lemon Jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
3 bananas, sliced
1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon powdered sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve jello in hot water. Add cold water and stir well. Pour contents into desired serving bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow it to begin to set. Add drained pineapple to jello, mix. Add bananas to jello, mix. Top with marshmallows. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours or until set. Just prior to serving, blend heavy whipping cream, vanilla and sugar. until soft peaks form. Spread whipped cream on top of Jello and serve. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days in a covered container.

This is my best friend's grandma's recipe. It's similar to another posted but different enough to merit it's own place. We make this every holiday and it's my most favorite way to make jello ever! Don't let the ingredients scare you out of trying this one.

1 (3 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin
1 (3 ounce) package lemon Jell-O gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits (drain well)
1 pint cottage cheese (2 cups)
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 cup walnuts (chopped) or 1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped)

Steps:

  • Dissolve jello in boiling water.
  • Mix in all ingredients except cottage cheese and whipped cream.
  • Cool mixture then add cottage cheese and whipped cream.
  • Refrigerate until molded. Cover so it doesn't dry out.
  • Use a 9X13 glass pan or pretty bundt shaped pan. If you use a bundt pan, set the pan in warm water for a few minutes before unmolding.

1 box lime jello
1 c. hot water
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
2 c. cold water
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix both packages of jello with hot water; stir well. Beat in softened cream cheese (at low speed!). Add cold water and stir. Add pineapple, sweetened condensed milk, and mayonnaise; mix well. Sprinkle nuts on top and chill.
