These are just like the ones you'd get at the Fair! Great summertime drink! Super sweet and very refreshing. I got this photo online from the passionate penny pincher.

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 c sugar
1 c water
1 c freshly squeezed lemon juice (reserve rinds)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine sugar & water. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
  • 2. Add lemon juice to simple syrup. Strain and keep refrigerated.
  • 3. To make: Add approx 2 tablespoons of syrup to each glass of ice water.
  • 4. Add the rind of half of a lemon that you squeezed to get the juice.
  • 5. Cover the glass and shake to blend. Enjoy!

2 cups vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups club soda

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 tablespoons crushed lemon drop candies
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 small lemon, cut into six slices, divided
1/2 cup 2% milk
2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups lemon sorbet
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a shallow dish, mix crushed lemon drops and sugar. Using 1 or 2 lemon slices, moisten the rims of four glasses; dip rims into candy mixture., Place remaining ingredients (minus lemon slices) in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into prepared glasses; serve immediately with remaining lemon slices.
