Feature this no-fuss relish alongside your bird or roast and just wait for compliments. "One year I brought this to a church Thanksgiving dinner," recalls Cathy Rogers of Ashewille, North Carolina. "Several people asked what spices I used to make it so terrific.

1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
Pinch ground cloves
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, pineapple, apple pie spice and cloves. Stir in pecans. Serve immediately.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups dried cranberries
1 cup golden raisin
1 piece fresh ginger, 1 - 1 ' 1/2 inches
2 medium tart apples (Granny Smith or Winesap)
1 lemon
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Steps:

  • Soak cranberries and raisins in warm water for 20 minutes. Drain.
  • Core and chop (but do not peel) the apples about 3/8" pieces.
  • Grate lemon peel and juice lemon.
  • Add apples, grated lemon and lemon juice to cranberries and raisins.
  • Grate the ginger and add.
  • Combine the honey and vinegar in a cup and mix into the relish.
  • Toss well. Refrigerate before serving.
