"LAND OF NOD" CINNAMON BUNS



I have made this several times and it's dead easy. If you have overnight guests, what could be easier for breakfast? I've made it on special occasions, too, such as Easter morning and Christmas morning, etc. This recipe comes from the Best of Bridge series.

20 frozen dough rolls
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding
1 -2 tablespoon cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/4-1/2 cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Before you turn in for the night, grease a 10" bundt pan and add frozen rolls.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar, pudding powder, cinnamon and raisins.
  • Pour melted butter over all.
  • Cover with a clean, damp cloth.
  • (Leave out at room temperature).
  • Off to bed you go!
  • In the morning, preheat oven to 350 and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes and then turn out on a serving plate.

Steps:

¼ cup instant vanilla pudding mix
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¾ cup raisins
⅓ cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Lightly grease a 10 inch Bundt cake pan. Place frozen rolls into pan and sprinkle with brown sugar, pudding mix, ground cinnamon and raisins. Pour melted butter over rolls. Cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave overnight at room temperature.
  • In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes, until golden brown. Turn rolls out onto a serving plate and serve warm.

one c packed brown sugar
1-2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 c raisins
1/2 c pecans or walnuts (chopped)
1/2 c melted butter

Steps:

  • 1. Arange frozen dinner rolls in a bundt pan. Sprinkle with the brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and nuts. Pour butter over all rolls. Cover with a damp cloth overnight.
  • 2. In the morning bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes then turn out onto a plate and enjoy
