KOOL-AID PIE
Got this from an aunt of mine and won first prize 3 times at the county fair. It only takes about 20-30 min to make and about 1-2 hours to set (depends on the cold setting). Try any and all flavors that you can and will, and let me know what turns out well and what don't. For the 4th of July I try to do maybe a red or blue. Will...

STRAWBERRY KOOL-AID PIE RECIPE - (4.4/5)

Steps:
- Add all the ingredients together and pour into a prepared graham cracker crust. Chill about 2 hours then serve. The flavor possibilities are endless my favorites are Lemon, Strawberry, Tropical Fruit, Orange & Pink Lemonade. You can also use a bit of food coloring for pies like lemonade. Fruit can be added if you want. Maybe some strawberries for strawberry pie or sliced bananas on the bottom of the crust and then pour strawberry flavor on top. You can experiment all you want. For the lemonade pie pictured above I added about 6 drops of yellow food coloring and about 1/4 cup regular sugar to tone down a bit of the tartness.

KOOL AID PIE
It is a big hit with kids and easy enough for them to mix the ingredients themselves and pour it into the pie shell and presto - they have made a pie! This is a recipe based on the following at: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/kool_aid_pie. I added 2 Tablespoons of milk to my recipe as it makes it more creamy, but if you like it really rich and sugary, you can leave this out.

Steps:
- 1. Whip together (with a wisk or spoon) the Cool Whip, Sweet Milk and Kool-Aid. Poor over into pie crust and cover. Set in fridge for 2-3 hours to set and chill then ENJOY Our favorite flavors are Lemonade, Orange and Black Cherry. We are really stuck on LEMONADE AND ORANGE. With the orange I top it with mandarin orange slices(dole-canned). It makes it interesting to add a fruit that would compliment the kool-aid flavor!
