JESSE CATES POPPY SEED BREAD
I found this in the newspaper many years ago; it is supposed to be the bread they serve at Jesse Cates restaurant. It has been so long since I've had the original, I can't say how close it is, but I can say my family loves it! For a really decadent treat spread a warm slice with honey butter -- yum!

MAGICAL DISAPPEARING POPPY SEED GARLIC FRENCH BREAD
This bread goes well with a wide variety of menus. A word of caution though: Make sure teenage males come at the end of the buffet line when serving this bread, for they seem to inhale it. In fact, you may want to make two loaves, doubling what would be a normal portion, for this always disappears!

POPPY SEED BREAD WITH ORANGE GLAZE
My neighbor gave me this recipe, and I love that it makes two loaves. We usually eat one and then give the other away or freeze it for later. The glaze complements the bread perfectly. -Heather Frese, Albany, Missouri
