Great to bring to a party! Bring different colors to match themed events. These are so much better than most of the ones you get at bars. You will need to find the 2oz. plastic cups and lids from your local restaurant supply store.

1 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vodka

Steps:

  • Boil cup of water.
  • Empty jello powder into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water.
  • Continue stirring for two minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved.
  • Add in the 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of vodka.
  • Stir until mixed and pour into 2oz. cups filled 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

1 1 cup coke, mix in dark cherry jello add 1 cup light rum.

2 one varies from the normal method since champagne isn't as strong as liquor, cut the water out of this one. boil one cup champagne, mix orange jello 2 min, add one more cup champagne and a splash of OJ.
Silk:
2 one cup champagne, mix in jello for 2 minutes, add one cup champagne and splash of lychee juice from the can.

Boil two cups red bull, mix jello two minutes, add two cups mandarin orange vodka.

1 pkg (6 oz) orange jello, regular or sugar free
1 1/2 c boiling water
1/2 c ice cold water
1 c peach schnapps
1 c vodka or everclear
1 tsp grenadine (for color)

Steps:

  • 1. In a 48 oz glass measuring cup bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil in a microwave oven, about 5 minutes. Dissolve package of Orange Jello in the boiling water and stir at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water. Let cool completely before adding liquor.
  • 2. Add 1 cup of Peach Schnapps, 1 cup of Vodka and grenadine. Stir until well combined and pour into jello shot cups and securely top with lids. Place shots on baking sheet and put in refrigerator until set.
  • 3. *If using Everclear, use 3/4 cups and increase Ice Water to 3/4 cups. It will still be stronger than regular Vodka but won't taste stronger.

2 (3-ounce) packages lemon Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
1 cup citrus vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup ice cold water

Steps:

  • Cut the lemons in half lengthwise. Squeeze the lemon juice out into a separate container and set aside. Use a spoon to scoop out all of the insides and pulp. You can use a paring knife to help separate the inside, but be sure not to cut through the lemon peel. Once you have them all completely juiced and cleaned out, place each of the halves into a muffin tin, with the open sides up. Prepare the Jell-O mixture by mixing 1 cup of boiling water with two packages of lemon Jell-O. Stir until the Jell-O has completely dissolved. Then, add the 1 cup citrus vodka, 1/2 cup of strained lemon juice that you got from the lemons, and 1/2 cup ice water. Stir until cooled.   • When the lemonade drop is set, fill the glasses almost to the rim with the pink lemonade drop. Use a thick wooden skewer or small spoon to cut through the set lemon jello, mixing to make a tie dye pattern. Return to the refrigerator until set, about 3-4 hours.
  • Place 1/2 cup sugar in a strainer set over a bowl. Add the yellow food coloring and use a spoon or rubber spatula to mix into the sugar as it falls through the strainer. Mix the sugar in the bowl until it turns yellow.

This is one of the most fun ways to make (and serve) Jello shots, where you do not need plastic shot glasses... you just eat the entire thing. Be careful tho, once I took these to an "adult" Christmas party, and we found a few of their grand-kids chomping on them... YIKES!!! Keep in mind that these take quite a bit of time to carefully hollow out the apples, but well worth it. They are so cute after being sliced and plated. Everyone who enjoys a caramel apple will love these. (I guess they can be made without the alcohol for a kid friendly version, maybe just using 1/4 c water and a few tablespoons of caramel sauce to replace the butterscotch schnapps or caramel vodka. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 -4 drops yellow food coloring
1/2 cup butterscotch schnapps (your favourite brand) or 1/2 cup caramel vodka (I use Smirnoff Kissed Caramel vodka)
1/4 cup lemon juice (to prevent browning of apples)

Steps:

  • In medium sauce pan, whisk together the cold water and hot chocolate envelope until no clumps are visible. DO NOT heat yet.
  • Once mixed thoroughly, sprinkle the envelope of Knox gelatin over the top and LET IT SIT, DO NOT STIR for 2 minutes.
  • Turn your stove top burner to a medium low setting and completely mix in the gelatin, then the milk and sugar. Slowly bring the mixture to a low simmer a few minutes just until the sugar is dissolved. At this point you can start adding the food coloring to the color you like.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and let sit until room warm. Meanwhile, place lemon juice in a small bowl (I only use approx 1/4 cup), and prep the apples by slicing each in half from stem to bottom (DO NOT peel). Using the smaller end of a melon scoop (if you have the size option), carefully hollow out the inside of the apples, to where you only have approx 1/4 " outer shell, being careful not to get to close to the outer peel. While carving each apple, dip the hollowed halves in a dish of lemon juice to coat the rim of the apples to prevent browning (you will not taste it). Place each hollowed out half in muffin tins.
  • Once the mixture is just warm, you can now stir in the Butterscotch Schnapps or Caramel Vodka (I prefer the Smirnoff Kissed Caramel vodka). Either will work and there are many brands of both available. Mix well.
  • Pour enough jello mixture into each hollowed apple shell, being sure that they are level in the muffin tins. Fill to the tops of each. Place in fridge for a minimum of 4 hours (I have even made them the night before I take them somewhere, without slicing the wedges, and just trimmed the rim of the halved apples if they had browned).
  • Once set, remove apples from muffin tins and slice each half into 3-4 wedges (depending on the size of your apples). Plate them on whatever tray you plan to serve on and return, loosely covered, to the fridge. (TIP: It is best to cut them just before serving, since the freshly cut edges will brown).
  • Serve and enjoy!

2 cups Coke, 1 boiling and 1 chilled cup
1 cup rum

Steps:

  • Dissolve the cherry gelatin into the boiling cola and whisk together for about 2 minutes. Add the cold cola to the mixture. Add the rum to the mixture. Whisk until the liquid is well combined. Pour 2 ounces (60 milliliters) of the mixture into plastic shot glasses. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours or until the gelatin has completely set.
