1 (1 lb) package hot dog, halved, lengthwise, and sliced
2 tablespoons butter, divided
2 medium onions, halved, and sliced
3 celery ribs, coursely chopped
1 medium green pepper, julienned
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup hot cooked noodles

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook and stir hot dogs in 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat until lightly browned; remove and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, saute the onions, celery, and green pepper in remaining butter until tender.
  • Add garlic; cook for 1 minute longer.
  • Add tomatoes, oregano, paprika, pepper, and hot dogs; cook until heated through.
  • Serve with noodles.

1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup water
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chicken pieces in a single layer in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, water, brown sugar and dry soup mix. Carefully pour over the chicken, making sure that all of the pieces are covered.

1 box (4.7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Au Gratin Potatoes
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup milk
5 hot dogs, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1/2 cup frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 cup shredded Colby-Jack cheese blend (2 oz)

Steps:

  • In 10-inch nonstick skillet, stir sauce mix (from box), hot water and milk until well blended. Add potatoes (from box); stir well to combine. Heat just to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Uncover; stir in hot dogs and frozen corn; cook 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and hot dogs and corn are heated through.
