This is one of my husband's favorite pies. I can also say that it is mine as well, and my children sure go for this one. This pie can be baked in small fluted foil pans to make 8 to 10 individual pies.

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 eggs
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

Steps:

  • Bake pie shell at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 5 minutes. Cool. Turn oven down to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Beat eggs and salt until very light and lemon colored. Beat in sugar a little at a time. With a wire whisk, fold in melted butter or margarine, and corn syrup. Pour into partially baked shell. Arrange pecan halves on top, broken side down.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, and reduce heat to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Bake for 30 minutes.

1 1/2 c chopped pecans
3/4 c milk
3/4 c light or dark karo corn syrup
1/4 c margarine or butter,soft
2 tsp vanilla
4 large eggs
3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c bisquick baking mix

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350^. Grease a 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle pecans in empty pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth , 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour mixture slowly over pecans. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 50 to 55 minutes; cool 5 minutes. So Delicious!!!

1/2 c bisquick

  • 1. Butter a 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle pecans on the bottom of pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth for 15 seconds in blender on high or one minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Bake in 350^ oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 50-55 minutes; cool.

1/2 cup original Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk (from 12-oz can)
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping (thawed)
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
8 pecan halves, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • In medium bowl, stir pumpkin, Bisquick mix, sugar, milk, butter, 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, the vanilla and eggs until blended. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour into pie plate.
