1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 lb hot dog, sliced
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
1/3 cup chili sauce
1/3 cup catsup
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
1 (8 ounce) can biscuits
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook onion and green pepper in 1 tablespoons butter.
  • Stir in hot dogs, beans, chili sauce and catsup.
  • For a sweeter flavor, add brown sugar.
  • Simmer 2 minutes.
  • Spoon hot mixture into an ungreased 9 inch square pan or 12 X 8 pan.
  • Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits;.
  • Arrange 10 biscuits over hot meat mixture;.
  • Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.

33 ounces canned pork & beans ((3) 11-ounce cans)
12 ounces hot dogs (*any variety, sliced into small slices. This was one package of Bar S brand.)
1 medium onion (sliced thinly)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon yellow mustard (prepared)
¼ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
1 teaspoon celery salt
¼ cup light brown sugar

Steps:

  • On a cutting board, slice onions thinly; set aside. Slice hot dogs into bite-sized pieces.
  • Over medium heat, add butter to a large skillet and sauté onions and hot dogs for 3 minutes. Add in the beans, mustard, spices, and sugar; simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Transfer beans and hot dogs to a casserole dish and bake for 40 minutes stirring occasionally.

3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
5 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced
1 package (1 pound) hot dogs, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 medium onion, chopped
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, 2 minutes. , In a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish, layer with a third of the potatoes, half of the hot dogs and half of the onion. Repeat layers. Top with remaining potatoes. Pour white sauce over all., Bake, covered, for 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese. Bake until potatoes are tender, 10-15 minutes longer.

6 slice bacon cooked and crumbled
1 c ketchup

4 (28 ounce) cans bushes baked beans (any flavor)
20 -25 hot dogs
2 (8 1/2 ounce) boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2/3 cup milk (for cornbread mix)
2 eggs (for cornbread mix)
2 cups creamed corn (1 regular size can)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Put beans into large baking pan.
  • Slice hot dogs into 1/2 inch slices and add to beans.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • While bean and hot dog mixture is in the oven,Mix cornbread mix, milk, eggs, creamed corn, and cheese in a large bowl.

½ pound bacon
1 (28 ounce) can baked beans (such as Bush's Original®)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
1 cup brown sugar, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, place the bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate. 2 can(s) large pork and beans
1/2 pkg bacon
1 c ketsup
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed

Steps:

  • 1. Using a 9x13 glass casserole dish pour pork & beans into dish; add brown sugar and catsup; stir until mixed well
  • 2. cut hotdogs into slices and cover the top of pork & beans; do not stir! cook bacon in a skillet until crisp and set aside
  • 3. Bake dish at 450 degrees for 50 minutes; add bacon on top and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Remove and serve hot, great for leftovers.
